Curvy Month Pattern Two - A Sensible Knitted, from Stitchcraft October 1937

I don't know about you - but that collar doesn't look sensible to me!

This lovely jumper is from a late 1930s Stitchcraft Magazine, and was knitted up in angora crepe. Sounds yummy! It has a decorative ribbed design that forms a yoke across the shoulders and a 'V' in front.

To fit a 40-42" bust, using fingering weight yarn on 3.75mm and 3mm needles.

This is lovely, I do like a deep rib and the ribbing on the shoulders is a great touch. Are you knitting any of these patterns at the moment?

Hi Kate!
My knitting queue is massive, but I'm actually half way through a 1940s victory jumper ;) photos soon I promise ;).

What's on your needles?

Yes please to photos. On my needles is a 1950s Patons and Baldwins baby cardigan for my imminent niece/nephew and a 1950s cape for me. I have just knitted 4 baby garments in a row!
